Our experience with the Carolina Adoption Services’ (CAS) staff in the US and Russia was fantastic. They prepared us so very well as to what to expect and the time frames of each step in the whole process. When we had questions we were always able to get an answer from the staff. We felt that we already knew the Russian staff by the time we arrived in Russia. This was due to CAS’ US and Russian staff being so well coordinated.
We are so very happy with our children and we couldn’t have completed our adoption without CAS assistance. We researched adoption agencies for one year before choosing CAS. That year of research really paid off because our adoption experience with CAS was incredible. I have already highly recommended CAS to several families considering adopting from Russia and will continue to do so.

Our experience with CAS was wonderful from the start. Our program coordinator (pc), went above and beyond. She called us twice while in Russia to see how things were going. The follow up was great. I liked that when we got back home, our pc called to see how we were doing. The agency we used for our first adoption did not do that.
We paid $1,000 deposit to guarantee that we would register our daughter with the Russian Consulate. Since we did it in Russia, CAS called to say they owed us money back. I never heard of an agency calling a client to say we owe you money. The whole way our fees were handled was very professional.
Everyone at CAS was very compassionate and concerned for the family. Our pc was always so compassionate and concerned it was if it were happening to her. The way she picked things up had a calming effect on me. I know everything would be fine.
The support we received was just wonderful! Phenomenal! Calming and helpful. CAS must instill these values in their staff. The people are in it not for the money. CAS cares about you and these kids and will do whatever they can to unite parents with them. CAS wants to get the children with families. None of this was about politics and money. This is what agencies are supposed to do buy you would be surprised with how many people had disasters with their agencies.
I want people to know it is a wonderful agency. I could not have asked for any better service. I cannot say enough wonderful things. I would recommend CAS to anyone. I would not even consider any place else.
Our daughter is a perfect match for us. The change in her from when we came home until now is amazing. From a child who would not laugh and smile, she is just a completely different child. When we say the doctor six weeks later, the doctor could not even believe she was the same child. She has blossomed so much. It is amazing what TLC can do for a child.
