Carolina Adoption Services is accredited under the U.S. Intercountry Adoption Act (IAA) in accord with The Hague Adoption Convention.

The goals of The Hague Convention are to protect the children, birthparents, and adoptive parents involved in intercountry adoption and to prevent child trafficking and other abuses. The Hague, officially known as The Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption, is a multi-national treaty signed by over 65 countries, including the U.S.

Carolina Adoption Services is also accredited by the Counsel on Accreditation (COA) and a member of the Joint Council on International Children’s Services (JCICS).
